Most of us carry the heavy-duty Nanocom Evolution because it is the absolute king for Td5s when you need to code injectors or clear deep faults on the go. Others keep it simple with the iCarsoft LR V2.0 or V3.0, which is a great, cheaper plug-and-play option for Puma owners to quickly read and clear codes in the wild. Some guys even try to get by with a cheap ELM327 Bluetooth dongle paired with their phone, though they rarely read Land Rover-specific systems properly.

100% facts, machan! Nanocom is king for the Td5, but for Puma owners, keeping an iCarsoft LR V3.0 in the glovebox is a non-negotiable insurance policy. Saved my skin last year near Riverston when a wet MAF sensor threw the rig straight into Limp Mode mid-ascent. Cleared the code in two minutes, saved myself a massive flatbed tow bill back to matale, and kept rolling. If you're heading into remote trails like Kumana or Mannar without a  proper scanner, you're just playing with fire!
