Machan, modding a Land Rover Defender 90 is super fun, but you have to do it smart—this is not like old Defender, this one full of sensors and tech 😄
If you're thinking off-road style, first thing people usually do is good tyres. Just switching to all-terrain tyres makes a big difference for our SL roads (mud, gravel, all included). After that, some go for a small lift or adjust the suspension—but careful ah, because this Defender has electronic systems, not fully mechanical like old days.
Then comes the looks + practical mods:

Roof rack (perfect for trips to Ella, camping, etc.)

Side steps or rock sliders

Front nudge bar / bull bar

Skid plates (useful if you're going rough places)

These give that proper "Defender look" and also some protection.
Performance side... honestly, not much needed. You can do ECU tuning or exhaust, but most guys here keep it stock because already powerful enough. Plus, don't want unnecessary issues.
Inside also you can do small small upgrades—like dash cam, better mats, organizers—nothing crazy but makes life easier.
One thing to remember machan: this vehicle uses systems like Pivi Pro infotainment system, so if you do cheap or wrong mods, you might get errors popping up. So always go to a good place, not random garage.
Best advice?
Don't overdo it. If you're using it for Colombo + weekend trips, just tyres + roof rack + maybe steps is more than enough. If you go full "off-road beast build," then do it step by step.
If you want, tell me your budget and what vibe you want (clean / off-road / show), I'll suggest a proper setup 👍
