Guys, driving at night through dark stretches like the A9 or estate roads with stock Defender sealed beams feels like holding two candles in front of the grill🕯😂
Want to upgrade to modern 7-inch LED projector headlights (JW Speaker style/ Nolden/ clean halo units), but I keep seeing budget builds with crazy glare that blind oncoming traffic or melt cheap factory headlight switches.

Quick questions for the electrical gurus here:
Did you install a heavy-duty relay harness directly from the battery to save the indicator/light stalk switch?
What LED headlight brands available in SL actually have a sharp beam cut-off line so we don't blind low-slung sedans?

Drop your night setup photos and wiring tips below!

Spot on mate, stock sealed beams are absolute garbage on dark B-roads! First rule of thumb: Do Not wire high-draw LEDs directly through the factory Lucas stalk switch unless you enjoy the smell of melting Bakelite and burnt copper😂
You 100% need a heavy-duty ceramic relay harness wired straight to the battery box. Takes the load of the column switch so it only triggers the relay coil. Day and night difference, literally!
