Guys I saw on YouTube a Defender converted to full EV. Do you think it's possible here in SL? Charging, parts, etc. Or better to stick with TDI/Puma swaps?

Yah, it's definitely possible to convert a Defender to full EV here in SL! ⚡

There are a few places doing EV conversions and battery installs, mostly around Colombo, Kottawa, and Homagama. Some workshops can handle:

  • Battery pack installation
  • Controller & motor fitting
  • Charging setup (home chargers and some fast-charging points in Colombo)
  • Maintenance & repairs

Parts are usually imported, so it can be a bit expensive, but doable if you plan it properly. For trails and city use, people are already starting to experiment with EV Defenders here.
